Water Jet Cutting

A high pressure water jet, when combined with an abrasive, can cut through conductive or nonconductive materials such as steel quickly, accurately, and with no heat damage. This contrasts with electrical discharge machining (EDM), which can only cut conductive materials, and much more slowly, but with an ability to adhere to very tight tolerances. The combination of these two machining methods yields the most efficient and high quality machining.
